I recommend Just Imagine to all parents. I have always thought that young kids have a fully day of activities during school and need to limit after-school activities, but the problem-solving skills and creativity that the children gain in this program are immeasurable! The students in my class love attending the program. They write their own plays and perform them for the school. They even construct amazing costumes and scenery for these shows! It is great that the students can work together to create something that, in the end, belongs only to them. Amy Lowrey’s Just Imagine is designed to inspire the child to use their mind to the fullest extent possible. Whether it’s to put themselves in another person’s shows, use their imagination to write a script, or design a unique background to support a story, each child has the opportunity to participate and feel heard as they express themselves in creative, dramatic ways. As schools move more towards curriculum designed to drive factual knowledge, there will be a greater need for programs such as Just Imagine that empower the children to be spontaneous problem solvers in the best sense and use critical thinking skills to be inventive. Amy’s focus on creativity, verbal expression, building of personal self-confidence, and expansion of a child’s awareness of differences of opinion will hold any child in good stead for years to come.
